Spiked Spiced Apple Cider

Spiked Spiced Apple Cider by Chef Linkie Marais


  • 4 cups Apple Cider
  • 1 tsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
  • Pinch Ginger
  • Pinch Nutmeg
  • Pinch Cloves
  • 4-6 oz. Brandy (Depending on how strong you like it)
  • Extra Brandy for dipping
  • Cinnamon sugar for coating martini rims


  1. Place all ingredients into a medium pot, and place on medium-high heat.
  2. Let the mixture come to a boil, and allow simmering for 2 minutes. Stir several times while boiling.
  3. Remove mixture from heat, and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Take martini glasses and dip rims into brandy, then immediately dip into cinnamon sugar. Set aside.
  5. Take apple cider mixture and add brandy. Stir.
  6. Pour into the martini glasses and serve warm.
  7. Enjoy!
