French Toast with Nutella, Brie, and Craisins




  • 8 slices white bread
  • 1/4 cup Nutella (more if needed)
  • 1 Round of Brie
  • ½ cup Craisins (dried cranberries)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 T plus a pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar



  1. Make cinnamon sugar: mix 2 T cinnamon with 1 cup sugar
  2. Preheat the griddle to 300 F.
  3. Remove the crust from the bread. Using a rolling pin, slightly flatten the bread slices.
  4. Spread the flattened bread with Nutella. Add a few slices of brie. Sprinkle with Craisins.
  5. Carefully roll up the slices.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk and a pinch of cinnamon. Whisk well.
  7. Lightly grease the griddle with oil and a paper towel. Dip the rolls into the egg mixture and place on the griddle with the seam down.
  8.  Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden. Remove from griddle and immediately roll into cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Enjoy with a cop of coffee!
